Annual Enrollment
When individuals can enroll in or make changes to Marketplace coverage
During the Annual Enrollment Period, individuals may enroll in or make changes to Marketplace health coverage for the upcoming year. The enrollment period begins November 1 and runs through December 15 each year for coverage effective January 1.
Special Enrollment Periods
Limited enrollment opportunities after qualifying life events
- Losing other health coverage
- Getting married
- Having or adopting a child
- Moving to a new coverage area
- Changes in household income
- Aging off a parent’s health plan (turning 26)
